Young children are naturally curious and passionate about learning. They explore, question and experiment as they discover and wonder about everything around them. This makes science a wonderful complement to a child’s curiosity, and National Science Week offers many opportunities for young scientists to learn and explore.
One such event that allows little learners to celebrate Science Week is the family friendly foray into the fabulous field of fungi! This event will be hosted by the Adelaide Hills Science Hub thanks to funding from Inspiring Australia, and caters specifically to the 1-5 years age group.
Fantastic fungi events will be held in two separate locations:
Fungi of the Adelaide Hills – Mt Crawford Family Friendly Event – Mt Crawford Forest, SA. Saturday 18 August 1pm – 3pm
Fungi of the Adelaide Hills – Meadows Family Friendly Event – Meadows, SA. Sunday 19 August 12pm – 2pm
