The event is a collaboration between Robina State High School and Bond University. It will run over one day at Bond University and be hosted by the Robina State High School STEM Ambassadors (team of year 8-12 students).
The goal is to provide a platform where students from the Greenheart Cluster primary schools, special school and the high schools can come together to be inspired by new STEM fields. Across the day students will work collaboratively to solve given STEM tasks through innovation. There will be six hands-on tasks to be completed in small teams and a guest speaker from Bond University to inspire the students in a field of STEM.
To ensure all students can participate, the tasks will be differentiated to ensure it is accessible to the special school’s students.
