  • - (AEST)
  • Altona Meadows Library
2 Newham Way, Altona Meadows VIC 3028, Australia

Smart homes, smart watches, smart fridges... are all these 'smart' things making you feel overwhelmed?

Join us for a session to explore what makes these things 'smart'. Learn essential tips for setting up and using your device securely. Discover how you can use smart devices can simplify your life. We'll even have some smart home tech set up for you to try out!

This event is part of the Hobson Bay Libraries' regular Technology program. These classes are for adults wishing to gain more confidence with the devices and technology services they use every day.

For August, in celebration of Science Week, we'll be delving into not just how to USE technology, but how it actually WORKS.

So, join us for a mixture of talk and hands-on activities facilitated by your friendly Technology Librarians. We'll guide you through all those tricky questions you may have as well, and share some great resources to keep you learning beyond the class.
