How does Science help us work? The day will include rotational hands-on activities aligned to each scientific strand of the science curriculum to inspire students and invoke a passion to explore science and scientific vocations further.

The day will occur on the school grounds including in the school gardens with a STEM focus on building a sustainable food garden.

Activities will involve problem solving, prediction and questioning own understanding.  A presentation on properties and chemical changes will commence the day to turn on student minds to science and scientific thinking. One activity will be directed toward our school-based playgroup to include them in the wider school and involved in the day.
