Make a woven artwork using the same weaving techniques behind early programming innovations!

 

This class is part of the Whitehorse Manningham Library's weeklong program of From Craft to Code events. Textile artist Zsofia Samu is leading this transformative workshop in which you will learn valuable new skills. Apply the same simple weaving techniques that heralded early programming innovations. Use super fun materials, including wool, paper and silk yarns, specialty fibres, copper wire and ribbons! Build a sense of accomplishment and enjoy cherished time with your family.

At the end of the class, each family will place their artwork in a picture frame, creating a beautiful memory to take home.

One ticket per family group of two to five people. Perfect for beginners, ages 5 to 100!
