As a school we have bees, this have included researching bees, including the varoma mite and the impact that had on bees and plants. As an extension we looked at other pollinators and how we can invite them into our garden.
As a result during National Science Week we plan to plant plants into our local area, including local indigenous plants to invite a variety of pollinators. We will be completing a research art activity based around the pollinators and the plants that attract each of them.
