Join staff and researchers working at the Naracoorte Caves National Park to learn more about the World Heritage listed caves. Uncover insights they can provide into Australia's natural history.

Naracoorte Caves is South Australia's only World Heritage listed site. Listed in 1994 for their scientific values, the caves at Naracoorte contain some of the most well preserved fossils in the world. The Naracoorte Caves have provided scientists and researchers with a wealth of information. With research being conducted in the caves for over 170 years. Fields of study have primarily focused on palaeontology but have also covered a wide range of other areas of research and disciplines.

These series of webinars will cover a range of topics. It will be livestreamed from within the caves themselves. Providing the opportunity for attendees to learn about the significance of the Naracoorte Caves from beyond the boundaries of the national park.

Join us for our kick off event, with the launch of the singing palaeontologist Professor Flint's new album 'Dancing with Diprotodons!' This will be followed by a Q & A with the Prof and a few interesting guests. This will provide attendees with the opportunity to learn more about the megafauna found at the Naracoorte Caves and learn more about research conducted at the park.

We will add more livestreamed webinars soon, so keep an eye out on the National Science Week page!
