  • Ballan Library
143 Inglis Street, Ballan VIC 3342, Australia

Join us for an exciting community art project celebrating National Science Week 2024 schools' theme, "Species Survival: More than just sustainability."

Local mosaic artist Jacinta Damons will lead a hands-on workshop for Moorabool children, focusing on creating a vibrant artwork representing one of Moorabools significant and endangered species.

Participants will:

  • Learn about local endangered wildlife
  • Create mosaic art using recycled materials
  • Discover the science behind recycling

This interactive session combines art, environmental awareness, and sustainability, encouraging children to connect with nature through creativity. The resulting collaborative artwork will serve as a colourful reminder of our role in protecting local biodiversity.
