Yesterday at the University of Tasmania in the state’s south, a group of students and adults participated in the Robogals Robotics Workshop.
Using Lego kits, participants built small, four wheeled programmable robots. Not only were most of the kids able to build their bots quickly, but some of them had already moved on to modification and robot wars before the end of the first hour. Both boys and girls of all ages were excitedly showing off their creations and it’s sure to have inspired some future scientists.
