Develop a creative solution to a unique design challenge!

ANSTO's Hackathon challenges teams of high school students to develop creative solutions to a design challenge question. 

This fast-paced competition takes place over three days during National Science Week. It includes opportunities for students to discuss their ideas with design and STEM experts. Once students have developed their solution, they'll record and submit a short video explaining their idea. The event culminates with a showcase of finalists' videos and an announcement of the winners.

This year, the challenge will embrace the National Science Week school theme of Species Survival: More than just Sustainability. Students will be challenged to look closely at the species in their local area.
