AccessCR’s Australian Consumer Partnerships in Research 2025 Awards (#CPIR2025Awards) are an opportunity to celebrate how members of the public living with all sorts of different health conditions (also known as health consumers) partner with health and medical researchers to help improve knowledge and health outcomes for their community.

By celebrating excellence and innovations in partnership between health consumers and researchers, we hope to inspire more people in the community to consider how they can help improve research, not just as participants and funders of research, but as true partners in the process. Equally, it will help researchers to know how they can meaningfully engage with health consumers to get the research outcomes that matter to patients and their families.

Held during National Science Week, the awards will contribute to the national conversation about the value of consumer partnerships in health and medical research.
