Explore the complex world of bees in Australia as Dr. Saul Cunningham discusses the role that bees play in species survival. Saul Cunningham, a professor at ANU and director of the Fenner School of Environment and Society has spent more than 30 years  examining the role of pollinating animals in wild places and farming landscapes. In this presentation Saul will focus on bees in Australia, considering the role of the honeybee (an introduced animal), the incredible diversity of native bees and why the arrival of the Varroa mite deserves our attention.
