Biosphere Brainiacs is an online quiz that anyone can enter. 

Answer 20 questions to test your knowledge about the Fitzgerald Biosphere and biospheres in general.

Participants will then write a short story about their highlight of the Biosphere. This could be a particular plant, animal, geological feature, or anything that is special to the participant. This allows the opportunity for participants to think about the connections they have with the biosphere. and how it makes them feel.

It's free and open for anyone to enter throughout the whole month of August 2024.

Entries will be judged based on the creativity of stories shared. Judges will be a panel of experts from the Fitzgerald Biosphere Community Collective. They will select the best from the three different age categories for prizes (children, youth and adult) with some great local prizes for the winners.

A selection of the best stories shared in the competition will be published in the Community Spirit Newspaper and on social media.
