Elizabeth Macarthur High School is hosting an exciting private National Science Week celebration in Week 4 of Term 3!
Our event will feature a series of engaging and educational activities designed to inspire and challenge students across all year levels. Students will become junior palaeontologists in our Dino Dig, excavating and analysing replica dinosaur fossils in a simulated dig site.
In the Chemistry Lab, they will explore the fascinating world of biochemistry through fun and safe experiments that demonstrate the use of chemistry principles to test animal health.
A Nature Survey with hands-on field work will engage students in observing and documenting the biodiversity in our local environment.
A Zoo Enclosure STEM Challenge will encourage students to apply STEM principles to design and create models of zoo enclosures, ensuring they meet the needs of different species.
The Biodiversity Scavenger Hunt will add excitement as students discover the variety of life forms in our surroundings with a thrilling scavenger hunt, complete with a checklist and clues.
