Engineers Australia, Cairns Committee would like to invite STEM-minded kids aged 10-14 attend one of two FREE, interactive and entertaining Engineering the Future STEM Nights during National Science Week.
There will be free pizza to eat and a great variety of engineers for the kids to talk to and learn from while completing hands on and exciting challenges.
On the Monday at CQU Campus the kids will get the chance to become rocket scientists and learn about sustainable wind energy by designing and building a bottle rocket and wind turbine.
On the Thursday at JCU Campus the kids will design and build a sustainably powered model car and a water treatment plant to clean dirty water.
Tickets are limited, so we encourage parents to register early.
