For this program we would facilitate our tools and weapons program. In this program the students will have a hands-on cultural experience to feel, smell and learn how different tools, weapons and resources are used and how they were made.

Some of the items the students will look at are different boomerangs, spears, spear throwers, coolamons, woven baskets, different plants such as lemon myrtle and lomandra and learn how they were used to treat ailments and make different foods. Students will also learn the importance of ochre and how it was used. Animal skins and oils will also be shown to show how they were used for warmth and medicinal purposes. Students will have the opportunity to paint and keep their own throwing/ returning boomerang.
