The community at Mary’s Mount Primary School are committed to the preservation and conservation of the environment. In conjunction with this year’s school theme of National Science Week “Species Survival”. We would love to create a frog bog and frog pond to increase the biodiversity in our Harmony Garden. With the addition of a frog bog in our nature space, the students across all year levels can benefit from the opportunity to participate in long-term STEM investigation projects around topics such as: exploring lifecycles, food webs, microorganisms and micro-invertebrates. It is anticipated that these learning experiences will increase student participation and engagement with our school's focus on sustainability and conservation.
