Aimed at Adults (18 years and over) from culturally and linguistically diverse backgrounds, this is a 5 week beginners STEMM Workshop to learn and experience coding using using Arduino software with the ardublock add-on. Participants will learn the basics of how to control lights, light sensors, motors and how to use this with sub-routines and Boolean logic.

This course can lead to further study and education at the academic level regarding mechatronics.

Each participant will have one Arduino kit to use in the sessions as well as the use of our IT suite.

These are hands-on, guided workshops with trained staff and volunteers to support each participants learning pace.

At the end of the 5 week workshops, participants should have a basic understanding of coding using this software and be able to enrol in more advanced workshops should they choose.

Class dates:

Sunday 4, 11, 18, 25 August & Sunday 1 September 2024.
