Discover Nature with Helensvale SHS STEM Ambassadors!
Get ready for an exciting adventure this National Science Week! The Helensvale SHS STEM Ambassadors are launching their Citizen Science Project, and you’re invited to be part of the action.
Join the STEM Ambassadors along with the amazing Dr. Bridie Schultz for a fun-filled Nature Walk and Biodiversity Survey. We’ll be exploring the great outdoors, spotting plants, animals, and insects, and learning how to use the iNaturalist app to record our findings. It’s like being a real scientist, right in your own backyard! Join the survey here: inaturalist.org
iNaturalist is a super cool app that lets you take photos of the nature around you and share them with other science lovers. You’ll help scientists (and us!) learn more about the world by snapping pics of the plants and animals you find during our walk. How awesome is that?
Bring a smartphone or tablet with the iNaturalist app installed, comfy walking shoes, a hat, and lots of curiosity!
This is your chance to explore the wonders of nature, learn from experts, and contribute to a real science project. Don’t miss out on this exciting adventure!
