Learn all about the science, technologies, programs and people that help find and protect koalas.

In response to community questions about the impact of the NSW Government’s Koala Strategy, Cessnock City Council is bringing together a panel of experts for a community forum at Laguna Community Hall for National Science Week.

Expert speakers will include scientists and researchers from the University of Newcastle, Wollombi Aboriginal Cultural Experiences, NSW Environment and Heritage, NSW Local Land Services, Landcare, and NPWS, along with local landholders and representatives of Hunter Wildlife Rescue.
