At Explorers Early Learning Tarneit we incorporate Aboriginal and Torres Strait knowledge and perspectives into our curriculum whenever possible.

We have developed a relationship with Jaeden Williams of the Boonwurrung over the past three years would like this year’s kinder children, their educators and parents to learn more about some of the Boonwurrung plants and animals with him so that we can learn what to plant, who to provide food for and how to better look after Country into the future.

We have a number of books written by Boonwurrung and other Kulin nations authors that will help us learn more about the plants and animals of Nairm (Greater Melbourne) but Jaeden’s incursions provide a unique and engaging educational opportunity.
