Over the week we will be providing students the opportunity to engage with a range of activities and experiments.
1. Interactive ecosystem displays from the Qld Museum - Including a Great Barrier Reef and an Endangered and Extinct Species. Junior classes and senior biology classes with have scheduled times to access the displays during the week, other students may access it at lunch time.
2. Effecting living and growing conditions of plants - Week hands on long demo showing the effects of conditions (eg - different light colours, amount of light, water, cover etc) has on plants. Multiple plants samples are set up for students to use data loggers to record oxygen, carbon dioxide and light.
3. Big Bloody slime experiment - more details to follow
