National Science Week at Windaroo Primary will be a whole school and community event. Each class will visit for one hour and engage in a large number of interactive activities based on sustainability and habitats. Our focus will be on healthy habitats and solutions for how humans and animals can co-exist. We will simultaneously run a whole school National Science Week competition where the children will construct a plasticine animal in class and then take it home to build a suitable habitat out of repurposed materials. Our display will be open from 8am each morning with an invitation for all parents and members of the school community to come and be involved in our activities.
