Canberra College's career section is set to celebrate National Science Week with an exciting lineup of events designed to inspire and educate students about careers in science. Throughout the week, students will participate in various workshops covering different scientific disciplines, providing hands-on experiences and practical knowledge. Esteemed guest speakers from the University of New South Wales (UNSW) and the Australian National University (ANU) will deliver talks on cutting-edge research and career opportunities in their respective fields, offering students a glimpse into the world of professional science.
In addition to on-campus activities, the college has organized a special science-themed excursion on Friday to the Canberra Institute of Technology (CIT) and Australian Catholic University (ACU). This excursion will allow students to explore advanced scientific facilities and interact with current students and faculty members, gaining firsthand insight into these institutions' academic and professional environments. The week-long celebration aims to ignite students' passion for science, broaden their understanding of various scientific careers, and provide valuable networking opportunities with professionals and academics.
