Our project "Observing Metamorphosis: From Chrysalis to Butterfly" will give Wavell Heights Kindergarten students and their families the amazing opportunity to observe chrysalis turning into butterflies right before their very eyes!

Each classroom will receive a special Chrysalis Kit enclosing real a chrysalis, from which a butterfly will emerge in a matter of days. The children will then release the butterflies into our beautiful Kindy gardens. 

The children will observe this amazing process while exploring science through learning about living things, habitats and the world around them. They will engage in learning activities related to the metamorphosis, and be encouraged to make observations, predictions about what will happen next, ask questions and solve problems.
