Our OLA Science Fair is back, following the incredible enthusiasm and interest shown by our school community last year! This year, we've introduced an exciting new school-wide STEM engineering challenge that has inspired students to delve into engineering design processes. This challenge has broadened our learning experiences beyond the classroom, involving our wider community and deepening our students' understanding of how science plays an integral role in the world around us.
The Science Fair and the STEM engineering challenge will showcase Our Lady’s Assumption Primary School's strong culture of inquiry-based learning, highlighting our students' abilities to think critically, solve problems, and collaborate effectively.
Our Year Six students have carefully researched and selected experiments that they are eager to demonstrate to their peers, from Kindergarten through Year Five. These experiments not only display a wide range of scientific concepts but also aim to captivate and inspire all our students to explore innovative solutions to challenges.
