Planetarium Concert - Live music in the skydome

  • - (AEST)
  • Sir Thomas Brisbane Planetarium
Mount Coot-Tha Road, Toowong QLD 4066, Australia

Award-winning songwriter and science communicator Nate Eggins (a.k.a. Conspiracy of One) is bringing his signature sciency music to the Sir Thomas Brisbane Planetarium. Experience a truly special stripped back and intimate performance as you are taken on a journey through the stars inside the magnificent skydome!

Back again after a phenomenal response from last year's shows, this year offers even more with music from Nate and the band, stunning visuals, free popcorn and 'Homeopathic Cocktails', and now, talks by special guests: UQ professors Tamara Davis and Benjamin Pope!

Nate's music explores scientific and psychological concepts while highlighting and satirising many forms of pseudoscience, misinformation and cognitive biases with a comforting and cheeky sense of humour and catchy melodies that WILL get stuck in your head.

His goal is to bring people together through sharing of new perspectives, encouraging empathy and understanding, developing critical thinking skills and making science more inclusive and creative.

Get ready to visit comets, planets, stars, black holes and galaxies, set to songs from his debut album Road to Reason as well as fan favourite hits like 'We're All Aliens, Baby' and 'The Sound a Duck Makes'.

This is a safe space. People from all ages, abilities and communities are welcome as long as they respect others.
