Join us for an exciting full-day event focused on robotics, STEM, and media, designed specifically for our Grade 3 students. During this hands-on experience, students will work in teams to tackle a thrilling challenge: designing, building, and programming a robot to navigate a course they create using paper and cardboard materials.
The day will kick off with a brief introduction to robotics and basic programming, giving students the foundational knowledge they need to start their projects. Each team will then brainstorm and collaborate to design their course, considering obstacles and pathways that their robot must navigate.
Throughout the day, students will also document their team's journey by filming their progress. This media component will allow them to practice their storytelling skills and reflect on the problem-solving and teamwork involved in the project. At the end of the day, we will have a screening session where each team will present their video, showcasing their robot's journey and sharing the lessons they learned along the way.
This event promises to be an enriching experience that combines creativity, technical skills, and collaboration. It's a perfect opportunity for students to explore the exciting world of STEM and develop important skills in a fun and engaging way.
