There will be a variety of activities for all students across the school to be involved in. Students in the ELC to Year Two classes will have the opportunity to learn about the importance of bees through listening to a story, role playing as a beekeeper (with our Flow Hive, but no bees) and building a bee hotel. Year Three and Four students will ‘build their wild self’ – an activity to create hybrid animals, with the most useful attributes and adaptations. Students in Years Five and Six will be conducting an experiment to chemically analyse whale snot. Staff will also have the opportunity to engage in learning activities, including sorting and categorizing seeds, building a terrarium, conducting an experiment to analyse whale snot and play an ecosystem board game.
