Ready to survive and thrive?
Join us for "Survival Science," where you'll dive into hands-on challenges to explore the science of survival. Can you design a shelter, purify water, and generate power? Put your skills to the test and see if you have what it takes.
In STEAM Challenge: Survival Science, young inventors aged 7-14 will step into the role of scientists and engineers as they tackle real-world survival challenges. Over two action-packed hours, you'll work with a team to create model shelters that withstand the elements, build systems to purify water, generate your own power and even make your own survival kit—all using everyday materials.
We’re thrilled to have a special guest Sean Wade-McCue, (PhD Engineering) founder of Powerlake, who has developed cutting-edge technology to help homes save money and energy. A former student of our group facilitator, he’ll share his journey from classroom experiments to inventing technology that could one day help us all survive in a changing world.
This event is perfect for creative minds who love to build, experiment, and discover. Whether you're a future engineer, scientist, or just curious about the world, Survival Science offers an exciting opportunity to learn by doing and do it your way. Don’t miss out on this chance to explore, create, and survive. Join us in Cleveland, bookings essential.
