South West Science Fair is back!

Join us at South West Science Fair 2024, a free, family-friendly community event filled with science themed fun. Solve it, build it, create it or experiment with it to discover or learn something new!

South West Science Fair (SWSF) is bringing exhibitors from around WA to Bunbury Library this National Science Week. There will be a variety of interactive and hands-on science-themed activities, fun and learning. There’s truly something for everyone!

This year’s science fair theme focuses on the two opposing elements of Day & Night. There will be two separate events: a daytime event and a nighttime event. Both are equally fun and equally as entertaining!

Between 9am and 1pm, exhibitors will be sharing a multitude of exciting and mind-blowing hands-on STEM-based activities and demonstrations. The upper and lower levels of the library will come alive with activities, demonstrations and experiments. Get hands-on to explore science, technology, engineering and mathematics. Explore this year's theme: Day & Night.

The Exhibitors Day Event is a free event open to all ages and abilities. SWSF events are for anyone with an interest in one or more of the many aspects of science or is looking to learn or discover something new.

Tickets are not required. Come and go as you please, and participate in as many or as few science-related activities as you'd like.

Whether you attend the day or night time event or both, one thing is for sure... South West Science Fair will have plenty to do and see (no matter your age, ability or skill set)!
