Sydney Zoo will be running an exciting program of activities that look into the science behind wild animal communication, genetics and microorganisms during National Science Week.
Join the education team from Monday to Friday - as you get hands on with First Nations knowledge, animal poo samples and discovering how much we have in common with our closest relatives. Follow the Discovery Trail to find out how animals communicate with each other. Can you hear or see them all at the zoo?
Learn about elephants using infrasound and bats using ultrasonic sounds to hunt.
Discover the 6 senses (can you guess the 6th?).
Bee inspired by insect communication and how well a frog can sing.
