The Planets – Concert and Stargazing

  • - (AEST)
  • Loch Avenue South
Dickens' Drive, Centennial Park NSW 2021, Australia

Listen to starry music and then embark on an evening of star and planet gazing!

Join us for a performance from the amazing Sydney Youth Orchestra's Symphonic Wind Orchestra. Enjoy their performance of Gustav Holst's The Planets (and more starry music!) before embarking on a evening of star and planet gazing.

Dr Luke Barnes from Western Sydney University will provide you with an introduction to the stargazing. Our First Nations educators will share their knowledge and stories of the night sky from the Dreaming to the present day. The Sydney City Skywatchers will provide guidance with their amazing telescopes, all whilst our campfires keep you warm on a winter's night.

Join us for a beautiful night of music, science and incredible nature! Picnics are welcome.

Children need to be supervised and dogs need to be on a lead.
