Join us for a behind-the-scenes tour of the Dinosaurs Unearthed exhibition at Queensland Museum!

This National Science Week, Vision Australia Library are inviting our dinosaur-loving clients to join us in an amazing world. Journey back in time to learn about the magnificent creatures that roamed the earth thousands of years ago.

Come on a personalised tour of Dinosaurs Unearthed at Queensland Museum. This newly-opened exhibition features over 100 locally-discovered fossils and meteorites. There are more than 50 life-size reconstructions of Queensland’s prehistoric species. The tour will be led by Dr Scott Hocknull, a palaeontologist who will share his vast knowledge about our prehistoric friends. He's ready to answer all your dinosaur questions!

This tactile and sensory experience is enhanced by a sensation soundscape. The soundscape will surround you as you explore the prehistoric world of dinosaurs. This will be a truly immersive experience, a journey back in time!

Our budding paleontologists will have the opportunity to ask everything they ever wanted to know about Australia’s iconic dinosaurs and megafauna. There will be sensory time with small models, replicas and exploration kits. Together, we can reimagine the stories of our prehistoric past.

This event is free and open to Vision Australia Members aged 6 to 12 years.

Children are invited to bring their families.
