This National Science Week, join researchers from Kings Park Science for a guided walk in the Western Australian Botanic Garden’s Conservation Garden to discover how scientists are working to sustain the future of our State’s threatened flora.
Ex situ conservation in Kings Park extends beyond the Conservation Garden – our scientists conduct research on a wide range of native flora to ensure WA’s unique biodiversity is preserved. From rescuing rare species with tissue culture through to understanding fire response of endangered plant, this guided walk offers a rare opportunity to listen to research stories directly from experts dedicated to conserving our botanical heritage.
