20 Starke Street, Holt ACT 2615, Australia

This National Science Week, Cranleigh School will explore this year's school theme, Species Survival - More than just sustainability, by investigating how water helps animals, plants and people.

We will consider questions such as

  • Where can we find water?
  • How can we conserve it?
  • How can we clean our water?
  • Why is this important for humans and for other species?

We will have opportunities to take part in a variety of activities throughout the week including story book readings relating to the theme of water. These will be The River by Sally Morgan and Bidhi Galing by Anita Heist. There will also be hands-on activities including, a scavenger hunt, an incursion and experiments to clean dirty water.
