Meet a meteorite. Learn the night sky. Hear about the hottest news in space!

The West Coast Space Show is bringing a team of scientists, a big telescope, real space artefacts, and even a Planetarium show to the West Coast of Tasmania. Catch us in Strahan, Queenstown, Zeehan, Ulverstone, or Devonport this National Science Week.

Come along for a family-friendly hour of fun facts and stories about our unique night sky and all the things it affects. We're exploring new spacecraft missions, ancient space history, serious science... All focused on the unique strengths of our beautiful lutruwita/Tasmania. Afterwards, we'll switch to a series of interactive activities to get attendees of all ages involved in space fun they can do from home. Look through a high-powered telescope (weather permitting), with a live tour of the night sky!

Free, family friendly, and interactive. Attendees of all ages are welcome to bring their trickiest questions or relevant artefacts to be a part of the fun.
