Would you like to learn more about getting your Waste Sorted and How to DeClutter around the home? Join us in this special Chatterbox session for a visit from ACT's NoWaste team.

The NoWaste team will discuss the ACT’s Waste Audit data and what’s currently going in your red (rubbish), yellow (recycling) and green (garden waste) bins at home. We’ll talk about how good waste recovery at home leads to a Circular Economy for the ACT, about what you can do to reduce your carbon footprint, and what can go elsewhere for Reuse, and Recovery in the ACT.

Consider using the 8 R’s – Rethink your choices; Refuse single use; Reduce consumption; Reuse everything; Refurbish old stuff; Repair before you replace; Repurpose be creative and reinvent; and RECYCLE – as the last option!

We’ll play a few games and those attending this chatterbox session will be inspired and confident about the ACT’s Reduction, Reuse and Recovery options. You'll also snag yourself an educational show-bags to take away, helping you put plans into action around your home!
