$5 million to “Unlock Australia’s Potential”

A core element of the round will be targeting people who may not have had interest in or access to science engagement activities in the past. However this competitive grant round will be open to support all aspects of the Inspiring Australia strategy.

A total of $5 million is available across 3 levels of grant categories for projects to be delivered in 2012, 2013 and/or 2014.

The grant categories are:

• Small grants: up to $5000 to individuals or small organisations to deliver innovative activities
• Medium grants: up to $45 000 to organisations to deliver high impact projects at a regional or national level
• Large grants: up to $500 000 to collaborating organisations to deliver high impact and nationally significant projects
